Pea Organizing Names Office Productivity Makeover Winner
National Get Organized Month in January was busy for us as we were among thousands of National Association of Professional Organizers members who collectively helped more than 10,000 people get organized during the month-long commemorative event.
One of our biggest projects of the month entailed providing a major office transformation to Nancy Dartnell who was the lucky winner of the 2007 Charlotte Office Productivity Makeover contest, which Pea Organizing Services held with Charlotte Weekly and Union County Weekly.
Through the office productivity makeover, Nancy, clinical director of Gastonia TEAACH Center, an autism clinic, now has a clutter-free, functional and welcoming workspace. The workspace transformation also included The 8-Hour Miracle service developed by Hemphill Productivity Institute that guarantees three results: (1) you will know what to do with every piece of information from that day forward, (2) you will be able to find anything you file in five seconds, and (3) you will have a game plan for integrating into the new system whatever you didn't handle during the initial eight hours.
"Having someone to be accountable to and to bring in energy and ideas was most helpful," said Dartnell. "Kristin is skilled at organizing and has an eye for decorating and placing things in a way I do not and that helps me see where things should go. I can have clients and staff in my office now and they will feel welcome and important in the space."
